 Technology in the Children's Library
The children’s library on the second floor offers two clusters of eight computers for young children. These computers have preselected, age-appropriate educational games installed.
In addition, there is another cluster of six computers for older children (grades 5 and 6) that offer games, internet access capabilities, access to the library catalog and to educational databases.
The Student Research Center in the children’s library features databases tailored to homework projects, word processing and a shared printer to print school reports.
Computers in the children's library are offered for the exclusive use of children through the sixth grade. However, limited computer access is available as a courtesy to adults with children who must remain in the children’s area while their children use the library.
